New York
The news is this: There is a very good chance I will be heading to New York for three to four months to intern with an amazing footwear designer in Manhattan. She and I have been emailing about a potential internship for months. Our discussion over the phone this weekend has me looking for places to stay and comparing flight prices.

Still no news. And while I wait I decided to be proactive about other things. I have cold called three shoe design empires to see about an internship. I emailed two in the UK to see if they have a place for me (this making a phone call worth my time) and then I ran across an internship with one of my favourite companies of all time.
